The Smart Caregiver Pull String Monitor alerts the caregiver by sounding an alarm when a magnet switch is disengaged from the monitor. A string or tether is attached to the clothing of a patient or loved one by using a stainless steel garment clip. When the person being monitored attempts to leave a chair or bed, the tether is pulled and the contact is broken sounding an alarm. The alarm is between 85-90 db and the alarm has no volume control. The monitor is portable and operates with a common 9 volt battery (not included) It also has a low battery warning indicator.
